Do I need to do all the tutorials offered by the program?
It is recommended you complete all the tutorials offered. Tutorial 1 is key to the effectiveness of the other tutorials. Tutorial 1 should be completed before any other as each prepares you for the next step. Tutorial 1 (Developing Your Personal Brand) is the building block on which the other tutorials rest.
Is it important to complete the tutorials in a specific order?
Yes. The tutorials are designed in a strategic order as each module prepares you for the next. Within each tutorial, there are tasks, examples, and additional references to enhance your learning and understanding. Completing them in order (1-4) will assist you to achieve task objectives, tutorial-by-tutorial, to create a job-ready composite profile.
How long does a tutorial take to complete?
There is no absolute time limit: completion is more important than the pace at which they are done. The average time taken is approximately 20-30 minutes per tutorial, dependent on the individual.

Why should I do the Interview Skills tutorial?
In today’s competitive job market, it is more important than ever to develop winning interview skills. This tutorial is a step-by-step strategic process involving Preparation, Practice and increasing self-confidence for a strong Performance at interview to give you a winning advantage.
Would I benefit from completing Tutorial 4 (Addressing Job Selection Criteria) if I am NOT applying for a public sector or similar role?
Yes. It depends on the job. Many job application requirements are built on a similar response structure as those in the public sector. In these instances, Tutorial 4 (Addressing Job Selection Criteria) will be of benefit. Tutorial 4 is designed primarily for public sector and similar roles. Module 1 (Developing your Personal Brand) is the basis of this tutorial and it is recommended that it be completed prior.
Do the tutorials focus on specific jobs, roles, and careers?
No. The information, activities and examples used can be adapted to apply across many jobs, roles, careers, and industries. Tutorial 4 (Addressing Selection Criteria) is designed for public sector roles or jobs that are similarly recruited.
Can I get a Career Coach to review my resume when it has been completed?
Yes. You can have an online review with in-document comments and tracked changes by submitting your request here. This service will incur a separate fee.
Can I book private interview skills coaching sessions with a career coach?
Yes. You can by completing and submitting your request here. Once your request has been assessed, a career coach will be in touch to discuss. This service will incur a separate fee.
Are there other job search support services offered?
Yes. There are a number of other services that may be of interest to help you develop a job search strategy. These include:
- One-to-one Career Transition Coaching: If you want to advance your career or get noticed for a promotion, or you’re considering a completely new career path, then this is for you. You can submit your request at the link provided below.
- Resume Development Coaching: Tutorial 3 should be sufficient to prepare a master resume. However, if you prefer to work with a coach to develop a resume for a specific role, this option is available. Submit your request at the below link.
